Position: Psychoanalytic Advisor

Location: New York Greater Area / Remote 

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Psychoanalytic Advisor to join our clinical advisory board. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our treatment materials and protocols align with psychoanalytic theory, reviewing current literature, and helping our research analysts conduct and publish psychoanalytic studies. 

Responsibilities:

• Review psychoanalytic literature and research to inform and guide treatment protocols and materials.
• Collaborate with the clinical advisory board to develop and implement psychoanalytic studies aimed at advancing treatment efficacy.
• Ensure that our therapy programs are consistent with psychoanalytic principles and theories.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on integrating psychoanalytic concepts into therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and refine psychoanalytically informed treatment protocols.
• Contribute to the preparation and submission of research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
• Stay updated on advancements in psychoanalytic theory and research to inform ongoing development of treatment strategies.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology, Psychiatry, or a related field with specialization in psychoanalytic theory and practice.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting and publishing psychoanalytic research studies.
• Deep understanding of psychoanalytic principles and their application in clinical settings.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate and interpret complex psychoanalytic literature.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to advancing mental health treatment through evidence-based psychoanalytic practices.
